In introductory course in which you and a coach work 1:1 for 90 minutes together reviewing and educating on the why behind our program, movements, nutrition and culture. The second session is in a class setting and your foundations coach will be with you every step of the way.
Having a strong fitness background will be an excellent start for joining our program and we still require all members new to CrossFit to go through Foundations. As mentioned above, we do not just go over movements; this is an opportunity to learn all about DeNovo as well as have ample time to get acquainted to your new coaches and help you feel confident going into your first class.
As long as "I have done CrossFit before" means you have done an intro course (element/on ramp/foundations/etc.) at another CrossFit gym and were an active member for at least 3 months, you are eligible to try us out for a free week. This will give you an opportunity to see if you enjoy DeNovo, the coaching, the programming, etc. and give us an opportunity to understand your movement and fitness level.
All prices can be found on our rates page. You will have 30 days to complete your sessions. If you finish both sessions before the month is over, which is extremely likely, you can use the rest of your month to join classes. (If you purchase Foundations on August 13th and finish your last session on August 20th, you can take classes until September 13th, then start paying your membership.)
Clothes that you are prepared to sweat in, athletic shoes and bring a water bottle.
Definitely! We are able to do partner Foundations for couples or friends. Any more than 2 people in a session can make it take longer due to scheduling as well as more conversation, so we recommend keeping it to buddy vs. group. Cost per person remains the same.
No problem! We can work with you and adjust any workout to fit your needs while still giving you the best value possible. The Foundations program is a wonderful opportunity for us to work with you one on one to figure out a specific plan moving forward as it relates to your injuries/limitations.
They are scheduled 1:1 with a coach based on your availability as well as the coaches. Session 2 will take place during a regularly schedule class.
