
Crossfit kids/teens
Help your kids and teens grow in strength, skill, confidence, character, and above all have fun!
The focus of each class is on how well your child moves, not how much or how fast. Every class is loaded with age-appropriate excitement coupled with learning the basic functional movements. We provide an alternative to sedentary pursuits, improve the health of our children and ultimately decrease the chances of childhood obesity.
When in session, we offer CrossFit Kids as well as CrossFit Parents/Kids classes. These are scheduled sporadically throughout the school year on Saturdays at 10am. During the summer we hold classes for kids up to three times a week. We recommend the kids class for athletes who are school aged, but Parents and Kids classes include even our youngest athletes! Teen CrossFit classes are adapted to the developmental needs of younger athletes, emphasizing a balance between challenge and safety, with a focus on building fundamental skills and developing a love for fitness and community. While teens will perform the same movements and use the same equipment as adults (barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, etc.), the weights and intensity of the workouts will be adjusted for teen athletes. Our Teen CrossFit coaches prioritize teaching the foundational CrossFit movements with proper technique, making sure athletes learn how to move well while also creating a fun, engaging environment for fitness.
Teen athletes qualify for our student rates for ongoing memberships if they would like to access unlimited classes. They can purchase a monthly teen membership and attend three times a week. This is a great option for athletes during off seasons or in between sports. All levels are welcome! For those who have never done crossfit, we recommend completing foundations with a CrossFit coach.
